Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including renovation and industrial projects. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems and tools. The Electrical Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local codes.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks related to electrical installations. Perform low voltage installations and troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Collaborate with other contractors on construction projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or renovations related to electrical work.

Experience

Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial settings is preferred. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for this role. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work. Experience in renovation projects that require electrical modifications or installations is a plus. Knowledge of low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
