  • Troubleshoot and carries out repairs to all plant equipment as well as building related items
  • Perform and maintain preventative maintenance on equipment as the schedule dictates
  • Work on special projects from design phase to final installation and start up
  • Liaison with outside contractors concerning plant maintenance issues as required
  • Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and be able to commute to each of the sites when required by the business
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • Looking for a licensed electrician (309A or 442A),preferably with PLC experience and in the maintenance and repair of electricalequipment
  • Must also be familiar with preventative maintenance program.
  • Demonstrated electrical abilities, i.e., Conduitbending, lockout/tagout.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, leadership, andstrong priority management capacity.
Must be able to perform the following:
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving techniques fortroubleshooting related to machinery and manufacturing systems
  • plans installations fromblueprints, sketches and specifications and installs all electrical andelectronic devices.
  • systematically diagnosesfaults in electrical and electronic systems and equipment and repairs orreplaces electrical and electronic components as required.
  • measures, cuts, threads,bends, assembles and installs conduits and other electrical conductor raceways.
  • splices and terminateselectrical conductors.
  • tests electrical andelectronic equipment for proper function
  • maintains and improvesthe plant\'s preventive/predictive maintenance system.
  • maintains an organized,clean and safe production environment based on local regulations and codesincluding all tools and equipment related with the maintenance department.
  • demonstratescommunication, organization, and interpersonal skills, having the ability torelay ideas to peers and supervisors.
  • demonstrates a safety andquality conscious approach while performing work duties and able to work in ateam environment.
  • has good verbalcommunication skills and be able to read and write.
