Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience in both industrial and construction settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete electrical installations and repairs Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other diagnostic tools Conduct renovations involving electrical work, ensuring all installations meet local codes and regulations Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on industrial environments Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and safety standards Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment related to electrical work Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail computer skills example electronic work order system, microsoft excel over time work as required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Service vehicle provided after probational period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
