Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and construction electrical work, with proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure all electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.

Duties

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to install and troubleshoot electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial or construction settings. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks accurately. Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation projects. Conduct inspections of electrical components to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades. Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical systems. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites or renovation projects to complete tasks efficiently. Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Familiarity with low voltage systems, PLC programming, and automation controls. Experience working on renovation projects or remodeling sites is a plus. Prior maintenance person experience is advantageous but not required. Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and follow safety protocols diligently. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
