Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and new builds, with a focus on both residential and commercial electrical systems. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with local codes.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Renovate existing electrical systems to enhance functionality or comply with updated regulations Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction and renovation industry. Experience in renovations an asset Familiarity with solar installations an asset Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. A background as a maintenance person or in general construction is a plus.

Pay: $34.00-$45.00 per hour
