We are a Burlington-based dental office focused on a holistic, wellness-based approach to care!

A friendly, people-oriented, established practice is looking for a

Licensed Dental Hygienist

to work on Wednesdays until 5:00 PM and one Saturday a month until 2:00 PM. The person should be amiable, detail-oriented, confident and have good communication skills in English. The person also needs to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental setting.

Located within new facilities equipped with advanced and modern equipment, we strive to provide empathetic care in a cozy and homelike environment. Our hours do not encompass evenings; other than weekdays, we are open only one Saturday per month. The team is close-knit and welcoming, and we are excited to have you join it!

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system. Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring comfort during treatments. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve office efficiency.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license with CDHO. Fluent in English. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with Tracker software is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Previous experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
