Acupuncturist

to join our collaborative and supportive team of wellness professionals.

Overview

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through the practice of acupuncture and holistic healing methods. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and promote overall wellness. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and wellness needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients on lifestyle changes, dietary recommendations, and self-care practices to enhance treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients. Uphold a clean, safe, and calming treatment space.

Experience

Proven experience as an Acupuncturist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting. Valid acupuncture license/certification in Ontario. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to acupuncture and holistic health practices. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism. Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
