Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, schematics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The Maintenance Electrician will ensure all electrical components operate safely and efficiently, supporting the overall maintenance and operational excellence of our organization.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in industrial and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute maintenance tasks accurately. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose issues and perform repairs. Conduct renovations or upgrades of electrical infrastructure as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes. Assist with construction projects related to electrical installations or modifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues.

Skills

Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices used in electrical work. Knowledge of low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Strong background in construction, renovation, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Maintenance Person experience is a plus for versatile maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
