Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck, hydraulic and wiring repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of vehicles and heavy equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail.

Duties

Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including trucks, and heavy machinery such as paving equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks. Execute routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed for customer transparency. Provide exceptional communication effectively with managers about their vehicle's needs and repair status.

Experience

Previous mechanic experience is essential. Familiarity with hydraulic systems, welding techniques, and electrical systems is a plus. Experience operating heavy equipment and industrial machinery is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong mechanical aptitude with a commitment to quality workmanship in all repairs performed.
