The Library Technician II is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Library Learning Commons at the Labrador West Campus:
Assist students and staff with library services and answer general questions.
Manage library software and computer systems for circulation, interlibrary loans, and tracking overdue items.
Shelving materials accurately and efficiently to ensure library collections remain easily accessible to users.
Support users with research and reference services.
Prepare book orders and manage overdue notices.
Maintain records such as library usage, registration cards, and periodicals.
Ensure the library remains clean and organized to provide a welcoming environment for users.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the library.

Completion of a post-secondary program in library studies (Equivalencies will be considered).
Relevant experience working in a library setting.
