The Learning and Engagement (L&E) division at SFU library seeks to:

Develop student learning and research competencies through instructional services. Develop and strengthen SFU community research skills through research help services. Facilitate student and faculty research. Cultivate a sense of community and identity within the division, the library, and beyond.

L&E primarily serves SFU faculty, students, and researchers, and aligns with both SFU's research and academic priorities. The team culture is collegial, warm, and respectful. We value communication, inquiry, and whenever possible, shared decision-making.

About the Role

Responds to inquiries from patrons of the Learning and Instructional Services Division in person and online using Library resources including guides and discovery tools developed by Librarians. Assists Librarians with the coordination, delivery and promotion of general library instruction sessions and orientation events.


The successful candidate will:

Assist Librarians with coordinating and putting on displays at SFU Library.
