Job Description

Nakoda Elementary School is seeking a passionate Librarian and Literacy Support Teacher to inspire a love of reading and strengthen literacy skills for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. This role is at the heart of our mission to nurture confident readers through culturally rich programming, storytelling, and targeted literacy support that reflects the values of the Stoney Nakoda people.

What You'll Do


Lead engaging library classes and foster independent reading habits. Support students with literacy interventions that build confidence and success. Bring Stoney Nakoda language, culture, and storytelling into daily teaching. Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community members to make literacy meaningful.

Qualifications
