Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching first aid and CPR courses to a diverse group of participants, including children and adults. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage with learners effectively. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in English and French, are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging first aid training sessions tailored to various age groups and learning styles. Create instructional materials and resources that enhance the learning experience. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure understanding of first aid techniques. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to improve course offerings and instructional methods. Stay updated on the latest first aid guidelines and best practices. Manage classroom logistics, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and equipment preparation.

Requirements

Proficiency in English; bilingual in French is a strong asset. Previous experience teaching or tutoring, particularly in first aid or related subjects. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for lesson planning and administrative tasks. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively. Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus. Pay: $25.00-$34.14 per hour
