If you enjoy working in an environment that encourages development, fosters growth and looks at the big picture, the Level II or III Certified Water & Wastewater Operator position will interest you.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position offers an interesting and challenging range of duties involved in the operation of suburban and rural water and wastewater systems. The County operates a Level III Regional Water Treatment Plant, four Class II Water Distribution systems and two Class I Wastewater Lagoon systems.RequirementsThe County is looking for an Alberta Environment Certified Operator with Level II Water Treatment and Distribution at a minimum, as well as wastewater certification. Prior experience in either conventional or membrane Water Treatment Plants and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) or distributed control systems (DCS) is required, as is a clean Class 5 Driver's License. The successful candidate must be willing to work occasional overtime and adhere to the safe work policies of the County.Employment with the County is conditional upon receiving the following documents on or before your first day of work:

• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract
