Part-Time Level II Orthodontic Dental Assistant
to join our team.

What We're Looking For:
Certified Level II Dental Assistant with current HARP certification
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an Orthodontic Module or Orthodontic Dental Assistant course
Orthodontic experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the orthodontist during procedures, including placing and removing orthodontic appliances, attachments, bands, and brackets that have been previously selected, fitted &/or prescribed by the Orthodontist.
Taking records (photos, impressions, scans, X-rays)
Sterilization and operatory setup/cleanup
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace ,follow office policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Engage with patients, ensuring their comfort, explaining procedures, and answering queries to facilitate a positive treatment experience
Provide clear and concise information regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions to patients.
Assist with administrative tasks including maintaining patient records, billing, and managing office supplies
Ensure smooth patient flow, manage appointment schedules effectively, and collaborate with the team to maintain an organized and welcoming office environment.
Requirements:
Dental Assisting Experience:
Previous experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics, with knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments.
Certification:
Dental assisting Level II and NDAEB certificate, current BLS certificate, preference will be given to candidates who have completed an Orthodontic Dental Assistant course
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in administrative tasks and patient records.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to a professional environment.
Computer Proficiency:
Comfortable using office software and dental management systems
