Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient care. Clinic hours are Monday 9-7 Tues-Wed-Thurs 9-5.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, restorations, endo's, extractions, implants and crown & bridge treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using dental software such as Dentrix . Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with the dental receptionist to optimize patient flow. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in dental technology.

Requirements

Level II Dental Assistant with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix but not necessary. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
