We have a need for a

Level 3 Crane Operator

to join our team for a 6 month contract in the Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do

Operate cranes to support with the onload, offload, and securement of containers Assist in the installation and removal of crane booms, extensions, and hook blocks Responsible for preservation and general maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment on the platform; clean and lubricate cranes Competently operate platform pedestal cranes under the direction of nominated client personnel Carry out routine checks on the crane following the maintenance procedures and pre-start checklist

QUALIFICATIONS:

Your background

Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate 3-5 years of experience and competency in Offshore Crane Operations theory and practice Knowledge of materials management and radio operations Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certificate is an asset Basic Survival Training (BST) H2S Alive (Enform) Workplace NL Fall Protection Workplace NL Confined Space Entry Level 2 Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS) First Aid
