Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while also providing educational support and caregiving. The Childcare Provider will work closely with children of various ages, promoting their development through engaging activities and individualized attention.

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide support for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in an inclusive setting. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Observe and assess children's development, documenting milestones and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive educational experience.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable. Ability to educate children through creative play, structured activities, and hands-on learning experiences. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities. Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education are a plus.
