We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental practice by providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team with various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as proficiency in dental software systems.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for patient use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care in various specialties, including orthodontics and pediatrics.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as AbelDent is highly desirable.
Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred.

Pay: $22.55-$31.67 per hour
