Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, learning the trade and developing essential skills necessary for a successful career in electrical work.

Duties

Assist experienced electricians with the installation of electrical systems primarily in new apartment builds. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Conduct low voltage and high voltage wiring installations under supervision. Perform basic troubleshooting using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools. Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Requirements

Previous industrial or commercial electrician experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment is essential. Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus. Experience reading blueprints and schematics is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Strong willingness to learn from experienced Journeyman electricians and take direction.
