We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 1 Early Educator to join our team. This role involves spending part of the time in the classroom and part of the time supporting other rooms/centre with cleaning and laundry. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn
- Guide children positively and constructively, promoting healthy social and emotional development.
Support Across the Daycare:
- Assist other classrooms as needed, providing additional support and ensuring consistency in care and education.
- Collaborate with other educators to maintain a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt to the varying needs of different classrooms, offering assistance and resources where necessary.
- Assist in daily cleaning and laundry
Professional Conduct:
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support a collaborative working environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 1 certification in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and needs.
