Tlicho Logistics is currently recruiting for the following temporary position located at the Diavik Diamond Mine Site:
LEO2
(Equipment Operator)
As part of the Support Services Operations Team, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating 622, 930 and 966 Loaders.
  • Operating 140H & 16H Graders.
  • Operating 349 Excavator.
  • Operating 300 Hyster, Rubber Tire Hoe, Tractor Trailers, Roll off Trucks, Cube Vans, Flat Deck and Buses.

To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Safety orientation and knowledge of airbrakes system.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications (equivalencies will be considered):
  • Valid driver\'s licence.
  • Minimum two years equipment experience in a heavy industrial setting, preferably mining or mineral processing.

This position requires an individual with a proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. All candidates must be open and flexible to perform other duties as required.
This temporary position is site based with a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, day shift and night shift, rotational schedule. Successful security and medical clearances are required (confirmed criminal record history, medical and drug & alcohol tests).
