:



The Leisure Services Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for members and guests. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the facility, which includes the gym, multi-purpose room, pool, class instructors and therapy services. The attendant ensures that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained while providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall member experience.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):



Greet and assist members and guests, providing information about facility services, memberships, classes and policies.

Monitor the gym, multi-purpose, pool, classes and meeting rooms to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and light maintenance to ensure proper functionality.

Enforce facility rules and regulations while addressing member inquiries and concerns professionally.

Perform routine chemical testing of the pool and hot tub to ensure water quality meets safety standards and report any necessary adjustments.

Support therapy staff by promoting treatment sessions assisting with client needs.

Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including locker rooms, fitness equipment, and common spaces.

Assist with scheduling, reservations, and check-ins for classes, and facility usage.

Maintain inventory levels for kitchen, pool chemicals and member services.

Provide basic first aid if needed and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages member engagement and well-being to effectively support marketing efforts.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in fitness, recreation, or hospitality is a plus.

Previous experience in customer service, fitness, recreation, or hospitality is preferred.

CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.

Basic computer skills for scheduling and member check-ins.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Remuneration:



Competitive Salary ($18.00 - $20.00 based on experience)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
