Job Description

Details:
Mission and objectives:
Born from a personal journey of trauma, healing, and spiritual awakening, MoralityCode AI integrates emotional and moral complexity, African ancestral wisdom (ndapngong), theological and philosophical insights, and intuitive learning with modern technology. Action Lab For Development Association will leverage this innovation to improve health outcomes and empower communities, demonstrating how AI can enhance public health decision-making while respecting legal, ethical, and privacy boundaries. MoralityCode Version 2 focuses on health and medical decision-making, refining AI logic, redesigning the user interface, and deploying an Android and Apple app. Online Volunteers contribute across AI/ML design, development, UX, and ethical content, helping co-create an AI that diagnoses, heals, and respects humanity.
Context:
Action Lab For Development Association is launching a 12-week research and engagement initiative exploring the intersection of AI, law, and ethics in healthcare. Online volunteers will help investigate how MoralityCode AI can responsibly support health monitoring, outbreak detection, and public health interventions, while upholding privacy, informed consent, equitable treatment, and ethical decision-making applicable to both public and personal contexts. This initiative aims to generate knowledge, policy insights, and community-focused recommendations, showing how ethical AI can guide not only public health decisions but also everyday moral choices, empowering individuals and communities alike. This will include methodology such as doctrinal legal research and comparative legal analysis.
