We’re looking for a legal writer and editor to write, produce, commission and edit high-quality editorial content for the Canadian legal market.

Our new opportunity We’re seeking an experienced legal writer to contribute to our Canadian legal titles. This role has a unique combination of writing, content planning, relationship-building and editing.
The role involves:

  • Researching trending topics in the legal sector
  • Writing and editing content for Lexpert, Canadian Lawyer and Law Times
  • Managing relationships with Canada’s largest law firms
  • Creating and maintaining content plans
  • Reporting on current issues for legal professionals
  • Working with lawyers and marketing teams to finalize and produce articles
  • Commissioning and editing high-quality legal articles

You’re passionate and love everything to do with writing, editing and the legal market. You’re a professional individual with strong communication and client liaison skills. You thrive in a professional and global environment.
Essential criteria:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in law, journalism, or equivalent professional experience
  • Commitment to accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Strong legal research skills and familiarity with Canadian legal resources
  • An interest in the Canadian legal market
