Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting directly to the Associate General Counsel, the Legal Counsel acts as a corporate resource to Nova Scotia Health and acts as a junior member of the Clinical and Corporate Legal Services team, under the mentorship of more senior lawyers; as such, this opportunity is best-suited for legal counsel who are in the early years of their career. The Legal Counsel provides sound legal and medical/ethical guidance to Nova Scotia Health employees, medical staff and senior leadership, taking into consideration other activities within Nova Scotia Health and established health law practices across the country.Legal Counsel provides legal advice and strategic direction; analyzes and provides advice on complex, sensitive and multidimensional problems, both independently and as a part of a team.
