Location of position: Mississauga, ON (Candidates local to Quebec will be considered).


Job Duties



As our Legal Counsel, Contracts, be responsible for expanding the functions and capabilities of the Contract Management team by handling high risk/high exposure contracts and providing guidance and leadership to the team. You'll also provide advice on contract matters and assist in streamlining the contracting process. This role is also responsible for the review, analysis, and negotiation of business line contracts (new installation, modernization, service and repair contracts) to manage risks and enhance customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.


You will bring 2+ years of progressive and successful experience working with commercial contracts in a corporate or law firm setting, with string negotiation skills handling complex contract requirements to KONE. You will use the knowledge gained through your bachelor's degree (B.A. or B. S.) and Juris Doctor (J.D) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from an accredited Canadian law school or equivalent. Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual in French-Canadian is required. Manage workload in sufficient manner to meet all assigned due dates. Understanding of contract management processes and ability to advise accordingly. Ability to maintain high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Demonstrate the highest level of personal and professional ethical conduct and confidentiality. Understanding of legal concepts, terms and negotiation issues. Understanding of all KONE products and service including branch related issues, shipping schedules and installation issues that are typically identified within contracts.

Annual Base Pay Range:



The hiring range for this role is $113,900 - $156,640. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.





Variable Compensation



KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.

Responsabilites



En tant que

Conseiller(ere) juridique, Contrats

, vous serez responsable d'elargir les fonctions et les capacites de l'equipe de gestion des contrats en traitant des contrats a haut risque/forte visibilite et en fournissant des conseils et du leadership a l'equipe.





Vous offrirez egalement des conseils sur les questions contractuelles et contribuerez a rationaliser le processus contractuel. Ce role comprend l'examen, l'analyse et la negociation de contrats (nouvelles installations, modernisation, service et reparations) afin de gerer les risques et d'ameliorer la satisfaction client, tout en assurant la conformite aux normes juridiques et aux politiques de l'entreprise.


Exigences



Minimum de 2 ans d'experience progressive et reussie en contrats commerciaux dans un cabinet juridique ou en entreprise. Solides competences en negociation de contrats complexes. Diplome de baccalaureat (B.A. ou B.Sc.) et Juris Doctor (J.D.) ou Baccalaureat en droit (LL.B) d'une faculte de droit canadienne reconnue ou equivalent. Membre en regle du Barreau de l'Ontario.

Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite. Bilinguisme en francais canadien requis. Capacite a gerer la charge de travail pour respecter les echeances. Remuneration



Salaire de base annuel :

113 900 $ - 156 640 $


Le forfait de remuneration dependra de la capacite a repondre aux exigences du poste, des competences, de l'experience, des certifications et de la localisation.


Remuneration variable :
