Legal Coordinator needed in Markham! Permanent opportunity, $60K+, joining a fantastic team!Agilus is recruiting for a Legal Coordinator in the utilities sector in Markham, Ontario. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Coordinator to join our client's legal team. This role is responsible for proofreading and reviewing contracts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance, as well as managing contract workflows through the CLM system. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with legal documents and digital contract platforms. Responsibilities:

• Proofread and edit contracts and legal documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with company standards
• Being the first look at contracts
• Formatting templates
• Being an expert in the CLM - troubleshooting, training, onboarding, tracking contract review process, and coordinating with vendors
• Manage contract intake, tracking, and approvals using the CLM system.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and other internal teams to facilitate contract workflows.
• Help develop and maintain templates, clause libraries, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education completion
• 1+ years of experience in contract administration or on a legal team
• Strong proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management tools
• Proven interest in technology and excited about learning new tools, AI, and software
