ABOUT THE POSITION

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading developer. This position will assist the Development and Legal departments. It will involve the organization, maintenance, and execution of all legal administrative duties to support and drive a more productive team through a proven and knowledgeable approach.

Responsibilities

  • Create an efficient file management system for legal documents and correspondence, such as development documents, partnership documents, land title documents, disclosure statements, trademarks, incorporation documents
  • Scheduling and calendar management
  • Establishing and maintain a bring forward system
  • Word processing
  • Drafting letters/memos
  • Correspondence to all parties by email, mail or fax
  • Complete administrative forms, such as expense reports
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Create and maintain an action items list
  • All other administrative duties as required
THE REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal
  • Corporate and/or Real Estate background
  • Paralegal Certificate a strong asset
  • Exceptional language skills
  • Highly organized with a proactive work ethic
  • Ability to work full-time from the office
COMPENSATION
  • $55,000 - $70,000
