Position: Legal Assistant for our Real Estate and/or Wills and Estates Department

Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience

Our Team is continuing to grow! Flexible Start Date that best suits the successful candidate (next few weeks to next few months). We have grown a from a team of 2 to a team of 11 in just the last 3 years!



Looking for a candidate who is new to the profession or has only a few years experience. Someone who is excited to grow for many years to come learning with great mentorship, support and team training! Experience in either real estates or wills and estates should be noted when applying as well as any customer service experience.

We are a busy and dynamic law firm specializing in real estate law, and we are looking for a highly experienced, motivated legal assistant to join our team. If you are a self-starter with a willingness to learn and a passion for providing exceptional client service, we want to hear from you.

Job Summary:

As a legal assistant at CLC, you will be responsible for assisting on legal documents and files. This includes preparing and reviewing real estate documents, managing clients, conducting title reviews, and overseeing mortgage payouts. You will work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and other team members in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with residential real estate transactions and/or wills & estates files Prepare and review legal documents (e.g., sale, purchase, mortgage, wills, POAs) Communicate professionally with clients Maintain organized file systems and track deadlines Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth file progression

Qualifications:



0-3 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience (more experienced candidates are welcome to apply) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the firm Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Ability to work independently and as part of a team
