About the Role



The Legal Assistant supports our litigators while also serving as a consistent point of contact for clients throughout their case. You'll collaborate with our team and make sure everyone stays informed and prepared.

Key Responsibilities



Client Communication:



Serve as a point of contact throughout the life of a file. Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in-person -- and make sure information gets where it needs to go. Follow up with clients to gather documents, provide updates, and ensure a consistent client experience.

Litigation Support:



Prepare, organize, and manage case files. Draft and edit correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents under lawyer supervision. Coordinate service, filing, and scheduling related to court matters.

Administrative Coordination:



Manage calendars, deadlines, and internal communications between lawyers and support staff. Track the status of ongoing matters and flag potential bottlenecks before they happen. Coordinate between our firm and others in the region.

Required Qualifications



3-5 years of experience in the legal field, ideally with a litigation firm. Comfort using document management systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite. A background in client service, administration, or another support-focused role is helpful.

Compensation and Benefits



Competitive Salary: Based on experience and qualifications, the range listed in this listing is negotiable. Vacation Time: Two weeks paid vacation at your discretion. After two years, this increases to three weeks. Supportive Work Culture: You'll be part of a team that values every member's contribution.
