Job Description

We are a Law Firm located in the Bay-Yorkville area in Toronto. Our law firm provides services to our clients in the areas of Corporate, Commercial, Trademarks, Estates, and related Litigation. We offer a pleasant working environment, excellent training, and a rewarding experience to the right candidate.

We have two legal assistant positions available, one full time and one part time. One candidate must have a proficiency in written and spoken Ukrainian and the other candidate must have proficiency in written and spoken Russian. Both candidates must have an excellent command of the English language with strong verbal, reading and writing skills.

The successful candidates must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel along with a good academic background.

Duties include:

Assisting and organizing documents for preparation of Affidavits, Productions, Pre-Trials and Trials;

Drafting emails and memorandums;

Preparing Microsoft Excel charts, chronologies and summaries of documents for discovery and trial; and

Taking minutes during meetings with clients, at court attendances and Examinations for Discovery.

Administrative duties include scanning, filing, arranging appointments.

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
