Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing, formatting & editing various documentation for residential and corporate/commercial real estate purchases, sales and mortgage transactions
Preparing and proofing legal descriptions from survey plans
Preparing statements of adjustments and account
Communicating with clients, lenders, law firms and other businesses
Ensuring electronic and paper filing is kept up to date and organized
Coordinating with and assisting other team members to foster a team-oriented environment
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to provide a professional and friendly experience for clients
Understanding of legal terminology and documents
Understanding of the time sensitive nature of property transactions and of the confidential nature of a law firm
Ability to work independently
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, work with tight deadlines and to reassess and adapt to changing priorities
Highly organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
Successful completion of a Legal Secretary program, or equivalent experience
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), Adobe, Windows 10

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
