Job Title: Legal Assistant - Litigation
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to $80,000/year
This role is a hybrid position: 3 days are required on site. Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for a Legal Assistant to join their team.
Position Description:

  • Support the development and finalization of legal documents related to litigation, such as pleadings, motion materials, affidavits, notices, and cost assessments.
  • Manage a range of administrative functions including file initiation and closure, time entry, invoicing, and basic accounting.
  • Draft and process correspondence and legal paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to various areas of legal practice while consistently delivering work of a high standard.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Expert knowlege of the Rules of Civil Procedure / Court rules
  • Completed education in Law Clerk / Legal Assistant program
  • 5+ years experience as a Legal Assistant in Litigation
