Job Description

You will be focusing on:



Assisting a dedicated team of lawyers in our Employment & Labour group. Your responsibilities will include: Transcribing, editing and revising letters, agreements, contracts, procedures, reports and other dictated or handwritten documents Maintaining an efficient file management and reminder/follow-up system Opening and closing client files Performing administrative tasks related to the position, including time entries, expense reports and billing Assuming responsibility for the agenda and ensuring follow-up Keep filing up to date Making photocopies, sending faxes and performing any task that is entrusted to them

What you bring to the role:



3 to 5 years' experience as a legal assistant


Proficiency in the advanced functions of Outlook and Word


Meticulousness and excellent attention to detail


Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities


Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure


Positive outlook and client-service approach


Autonomy, proactive attitude and ability to work quickly


Ability to be accountable


Adaptability to change and flexibility
