The Administrative Assistant role is made for someone who is able to connect with people, keep things organized, and make an impact using their resourcefulness.
As the ideal candidate, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proactive, organized, and have excellent written communications skills. You will be helping with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides administrative support in an office environment
Maintains complex and extremely detailed calendars and prioritizes meeting requests and related logistics
Monitors email inboxes, flags and prioritizes based on urgency and subject matter
Able to answer and coordinate three busy phone lines, and assign the calls to the correct law clerk/lawyers
Professional written communication
Create/proofread/edit documents
Provide administrative support as needs arise for matters pertaining to real estate, court documents and estates
Qualifications
Requires two-year Legal Office Administration Diploma
Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential and non-routine information
Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, and prioritize and multi- task in a deadline driven environment
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe, Outlook, PC Law and Unity/Conveyancer
Legal and/or Real Estate experience is required for this role
