Castle & Associates are a boutique Family Law firm seeking a Legal Accounting Administrator who will manage and run all financial aspects of our law firm.
The successful candidate should have a strong Legal Accounting background and the position will require the following:
Posting and adjustments of all entries into Legal Accounting software including experience with Esilaw/Unity;
Fee Billings, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
Collections and Enforcements;
Trust and General Management and entries;
Online banking transactions and monthly bank reconciliations;
Law Society of Alberta and Alberta Lawyer's Indemnity Association reportings;
Assisting lawyers and staff in accounting requirements;
Month and Year End procedures;
Working with Accountants for year end reporting requirements.
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Strong ability to learn and take initiative; and
Ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
Must have Legal Accounting experience of at least 5 years experience and be able to work independently, in addition to corroborating with the senior lawyer.
