As a Logistics Lecturer, you are responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical instruction in the field of logistics. You will design educational programs, conduct class sessions, evaluate students, and advise them on their academic journey. You may also contribute to research in your area of expertise. Key skills and concepts taught include:
Supply Chain Management
Inventory management
Organization of road transport
International transport Introduction to the ERP System (SAP)
Planning and control of logistics operations
Transmission and distribution International
Logistics Transport law Warehouse Management
Logistics cost analysis Sourcing and Sourcing Strategies
Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner ;
Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach ;
Administer and correct assessments ;
Monitor each student and encourage success ;
All other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years;
Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
