Job Description

LCI Education is a diverse learning community of 12 select higher education institutions with 23 campuses on 5 continents, and 2,000 colleagues involved in educating over 20,000 learners worldwide each year.
As a lecturer in artificial intelligence, you are in charge of teaching courses to students, creating course syllabi, correcting students\' assignments. Among the skills and notions transmitted, we find:

Skills related to the technical needs of AI industries;
The mathematical concepts necessary for the creation of models and solutions applicable to the computer field;
Preparing and exploring data, defining a problem and choosing the appropriate algorithm;
Integration of different interdisciplinary elements in order to generate results that support decision-making that add value to the company.
Understanding how machine learning works;
Presentation of results and conclusions in different forms of application.

Status : Contract - Summer session 2024
Location: Lasalle College, Montreal (Quebec) and online
RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan class sessions;
Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach;
Administer and correct assessments;
Monitor each student and encourage success;
Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course;
All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;

Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned.
Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years.
Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
