Leasing Specialist
, you'll be the first impression of our brand. You'll combine customer service, sales, and property management support to lease units quickly and effectively while providing a professional and friendly experience.
Duties
Assist prospective tenants with inquiries and provide detailed information about available properties.
Respond to rental inquiries and schedule showings.
Conduct tours and showings, highlighting features that fit client needs.
Guide applicants through the leasing process, from application to move-in.
Meet and exceed monthly leasing goals with strong closing ratios.
Post and update online rental listings across multiple platforms, performing audits on rental listings frequently.
Ensure suites are rent-ready by coordinating with property management and operations.
Maintain accurate leasing files and records in our systems.
Conduct property tours and showcase features to potential renters.
Prepare and process lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and correspondence using Yardi or similar property management software.
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized documentation.
Foster positive relationships with current tenants through effective customer service and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
Implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
Experience
Previous experience in leasing or in property management

Strong administrative experience with proficiency in data entry and office procedures.
Background in sales or customer service is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with clients.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking.
Tech-savvy: able to use CRM/property management software (Buildium), listing sites, and digital tools, is considered an asset.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with tenants and prospects.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
