Job Description

Position Summary: Looking for a driven, detail-oriented and full-time Leasing Sales Representative to assist the Leasing Manager in leasing residential rental properties within the NJS Capital portfolio. The main responsibilities will involve showing prospects the available rental properties within the GTA. All leads will be provided and appointments will be scheduled in advance. This role is solely commission based and a car is required. Responsibilities:

• Market and show available suites to prospective residents
• Monitor database of prospects through Acuity and ensure attendance of applicants
• Accurately complete and track all leasing documentation including rental applications, employment letters, pay stubs and credit reports to complete leasing applications
• Liaise with other members of the leasing team including the leasing manager, social media manager, property manager and the accounting team
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the product including suite occupancy, layouts, pricing, promotions, location, and other value-added services
• Report to the leasing manager for upcoming rental applications

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1+ year of relevant leasing and/or sales experience in residential real estate, property management, or marketing
• Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and within the company
• Flexibility in working hours; evenings and/or weekends work required, and the ability to be on call
• Self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented, and analytical with a strong desire to learn and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• A real estate license is not required

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
