We are proud to live, work, and play in the neighborhoods we serve, next to our residents, hotel guests and commercial tenants.We are looking for a temporary Leasing Coordinator (1-year contract) to join our Residential team in Yellowknife, NT. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Northviews rental units are 100% occupied by qualified residents while maintaining a high level of customer service within our communities.What you will do:

• Being the point of contact for leasing inquiries, including outside of regular working hours
• Conduct viewings, reference and credit checks
• Conduct move-in and move-out appointments with residents and ensure legal documents are completed and signed correctly
• Conduct periodic market surveys within the market in your area and recommend rental fees based on market findings for vacant apartments
• Marketing rental units in line with current policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum one year of leasing experience, ideally in residential or building management or as a real estate agent
• Excellent customer service skills, a pleasant demeanor and the ability to speak and write English and French fluently
• Able to work independently, a self-starter and takes pride in the delivery of excellent resident services
• Experience and ability in closing the deal
• Experienced and knowledgeable in creative marketing
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary
• Strong computer skills
• Have a valid drivers license, and in some instances access to a reliable vehicle
