to support the day-to-day operations of our residential and commercial properties. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth leasing process, maintaining strong tenant relations, and providing critical administrative support to the Property Manager.
RESPONSABILITIES
Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries and service requests via phone and email
Coordinate rent collection and follow-ups on outstanding payments
Prepare and make bank deposits for all residential properties
Manage lease renewals and rent increase notifications, ensuring timely follow-up
Prepare and execute all leasing documentation, including new leases, renewals, and amendments
Conduct Equifax credit checks and assist in tenant screening processes
Maintain and regularly update the available apartment listings across platforms
Prepare documentation and assist in Regie du logement (TAL) files and hearings
Support the eviction process, including filing writs and liaising with bailiffs
Provide administrative assistance to the Residential and Commercial Property Manager, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling
Support and manage move-ins and move-outs.
COMPETENCIES & APTITUDES
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role within property management or a related real estate environment
Proficient in office productivity tools i.e. Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
Experience with Yardi is considered a strong asset
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, highly organized,
and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with a responsive customer-focused approach and a professional demeanor
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written), with strong communication skills in both languages
