The Opportunity


We are looking for a high-energy Leasing Consultant (part-time) to join our dynamic property management team. In this role, you will be the face of Deveraux Apartment Communities, guiding prospective residents through the entire lead-to-lease journey, from initial inquiry to signed lease. Your focus will be on converting leads into residents by showcasing available apartment homes, highlighting community features, and delivering exceptional customer service.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role and has a passion for real estate, sales, and creating strong relationships.


This is a casual part-time position, and the successful candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.

What you bring...
Experience: Minimum 2 years in leasing, sales, or a customer service role


Sales Focus: Proven ability to close deals and exceed leasing targets


Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a professional and engaging demeanor


Organization: Ability to manage a high volume of leads, schedule appointments, and follow up effectively


Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Yardi or other property management software is an asset


Customer Service:Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for creating great resident experiences


Transportation: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
You will...
Manage the Lead-to-Lease Process: Respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct property tours, follow up with leads, and guide applicants through to signed leases


Showcase Apartments: Conduct in-person and virtual tours, effectively highlighting unit features, community amenities, and lifestyle benefits


Drive Leasing Results: Consistently meet or exceed leasing goals through follow-up, relationship-building, and prospect engagement


Complete Leasing Documents: Accurately prepare lease agreements, application forms, and other required documents


Contribute to Marketing Efforts: Assist in executing leasing campaigns and initiatives to generate traffic and increase occupancy


Maintain Accurate Records: Track leads, lease conversions, and follow-ups in CRM/leasing software to ensure data accuracy


Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Build rapport with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction, retention, and positive community reputation


Stay Market-Aware: Keep informed of competitor offerings, local market trends, and pricing strategies


Support the Team: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment and assist as needed in daily operations

Please note that this role will be required to work evenings and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.


You must also be legally eligible to work in Canada (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
