Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with prospective tenants while effectively negotiating lease agreements.

Duties

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants. Assist potential renters in completing applications and processing necessary documentation. Negotiate lease terms and conditions to secure tenant agreements. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and leasing activities in the property management software. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding rental properties. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track leads and follow up with potential tenants. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing leasing documentation.

Skills

Strong negotiation skills to effectively close leases and address tenant concerns. Excellent customer service abilities to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus. Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is preferred. Sales experience to promote available units and increase occupancy rates. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Effective customer relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with tenants. Administrative capabilities including data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries and communications.
