We are currently seeking a

Leasing Agent

to join our team. *Base salary plus commission position.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The

Leasing Agent

is a key member of the administrative team and is responsible for sales and leasing within the companies portfolio working along side the Property Managers while maintaining a high level of customer service within our rental communities. This position offers a fix schedule, employee benefits and more. Must be fully bilingual (English and French).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Point of contact for leasing inquiries Conduct property tours for potential tenants and answer any questions they may have Assist with the leasing process, including preparing lease agreements and collecting rental applications Negotiate lease terms and rental rates with potential tenants Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leasing activities Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including creating property listings and organizing open houses Conduct market research to stay informed about rental rates and trends in the local area Collaborate with property management team to ensure efficient operation of the property

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms for both the tenant and the property owner Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with potential tenants Knowledge of property management principles and practices Ability to maintain organized files and documentation related to leasing activities Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Yardi Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Must be a self-starter Strong ethical values

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

A post-secondary education Experience with Yardi Voyager is considered an asset
