Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leases, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth leasing process for prospective tenants. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants. Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and ensure all documentation is completed accurately. Maintain positive relationships with current tenants and address their inquiries or concerns promptly. Utilize Yardi software for managing tenant information, lease agreements, and property data. Perform data entry tasks, including filing and updating tenant records within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet leasing standards. Engage in negotiations with potential tenants to finalize lease terms effectively. Provide excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette and in-person interactions.

Experience

Previous experience in property management or as a leasing agent is preferred. Strong administrative experience with proficiency in office tasks such as filing and data entry. Sales experience is beneficial to effectively promote properties and close leases. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building strong relationships with clients. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Demonstrated negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements successfully.
