Requirement:
They are looking for a passionate and creative Learning Experience Designer to develop innovative learning solutions. As a learning experience design expert, you will work with internal partners and business SMEs to plan, design and develop holistic learning experiences that strengthen employee capabilities.
This role is responsible for incorporating the latest adult learning principles and using design thinking to develop dynamic learning solutions that increase learner engagement, enhance retention, develop capabilities, increase time to proficiency, and aid knowledge transfer to help achieve business results.
You have a refined design eye, strong understanding of design principals, and experience in multiple modalities (blended, eLearning, ILT, VILT, social, mobile, video). You are able to lead learning initiatives ranging in size, scope and complexity, while advocating for the learner and learning experience.
The Learning Experience Designer will report to the Manager, Learning Design.
Accountabilities:
As the learning expert, you are responsible for the overall design, development, testing, implementation and evaluation of training solutions
You will conduct business partner needs assessments, identify scope and make recommendations for creative learning solutions
Identify and manage tasks, deliverables, resources, timelines, and critical success factors
Be accountable for your deliverables and provide regular updates to your people leader, escalate issues where appropriate
Act as a thought leader; share your experience and insights with the larger team
Contribute your ideas to assist the team with defining and maintaining processes / standards
Must haves:
Ability to apply adult education, workplace learning, social learning and storytelling
Experience in designing in various modalities video, micro learning, ILT, and VILT
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
Meet demanding deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong planning, prioritization and time management skills
High-level and accuracy in execution of work and tasks
Ability to host and lead meetings
Nice to haves:
CTDP designation, or an equivalent combination of education and training experience (Please specify in comments)
