Your job
Define and roll out the national competency development strategy for the protection advisory offering, in order to develop the skills of more than 4,000 specialists across Canada, ranging from financial advisory services to branch management and mortgage teams
Influence and engage a vast decision-making network comprising 25 regional vice-presidents, more than 300 branch managers, 2,000 financial advisors, as well as 500 mortgage managers, residential financing specialists and their managers to anchor the culture of protection in every conversation with clients based on client needs and priorities
Lead a manager and his business development team who support front-line teams and their managers in developing protection skills, identify obstacles and deploy targeted activation strategies
Supervise the Sales and Distribution Project team and the Training team, made up of a manager and instructional trainers and designers, in order to create innovative, integrated programs aligned with the real needs of the field. Training is given to Bank employees as well as employees of our business partner, Securian.
Work closely with the products, Digital channels, savings, financing and Marketing, Sales strategies, value chain (internal and external partners) to ensure that coverage is perfectly integrated into the overall offer and supported by powerful tools
Influence and connect both inside and outside NBI
Measure the effectiveness of initiatives using performance indicators and quickly adjust strategies based on results and market realities.

Prerequisites
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience or master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience
In-depth knowledge and solid experience of the branch network
Extensive experience and knowledge in skills development
Significant experience in personnel management in a context of transformation
Demonstrate a strategic vision
Communicate with impact and strong ability to share the vision
Excellent ability to manage change
Ability to influence and rally various stakeholders and partners
