You will receive and interpret requirements from Product Designers across our multi-national team, creating components in response that will be scalable and flexible to multiple applications and implementations, ensuring accessibility needs are met across multiple device form factors.The resulting experiences will systematically define excellence for our digital products and services, ensuring that all product designers have the tools they need to combine services, technology and content in ways that engage and delight our customers.Design and develop components for our evolving design system, ensuring they meet high quality standards and are scalable across our extensive range of products.Collaborate closely with the Design System Principal (your direct manager) and product designers to integrate the design system effectively into our products.Contribute to the development and refinement of design standards, guidelines, and processes.Support product teams by providing design expertise and promoting the adoption of the design system.Document and organize the system, collaborating closely with our engineering partners to support them, ensuring pixel perfect implementation.Facilitate presentations and reviews to socialize the rationale and insights that informed your design of components.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrable experience in User Interface and visual design and building user-centric solutions.Strong portfolio showcasing your work on design systems and strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong system thinking ability for addressing complex and contradictory design challenges.Evidence of the creation of detailed designs, interaction models, information design and UI specifications that bring clarity across design and development teamsProficient with design tools, especially Figma, and Adobe Creative SuiteDemonstrable experience of implementing web accessibility standards (and familiarity with WCAG AA level)Prior experience of developing a design-centric working culture in an enterprise level global company (FTSE100 or Fortune 500)Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.Hands-on experience in coding, or a strong interest in learning coding principles related to design.Education and experienceMaster\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (or equivalent experience) in visual design or interaction design, HCI, psychology, or related disciplinesWhat you can expect from usWe succeed together\xe2\x80\x94across the desk and around the globe and believe the best inspire the best, so we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our success.Our Total Rewards program reflects our commitment to helping you achieve your career ambitions, recognizing your contributions, investing in your well-being and providing competitive benefits and pay.Apply today!Location:Remote \xe2\x80\x93Montreal, QCIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don\xe2\x80\x99t meet all the requirements.
